How To Choose Best CCTV Camera- CCTV Camera Lens

Choosing Best CCTV Camera in Jaipur can depends on many factors such as Brand, Mega Pixels, type of Technology, Lens, Housing, circuit, IR etc.

Today we will discuss how to choose the lens of the CCTV Camera. A typical analog CCTV Camera comes with 3.6mm lens; But what does it indicates? It means the 3.6 mm lens CCTV Camera will work up-to 20 meters of distance and covers about 83 degree of angle. Now if the client has an open ground to be cover it requires 2.8 mm of lens and lesser to reduce the distance but increases the viewing angle to 90 degree. If there is a balcony that has to cover client must opt for the 6 mm lens that increases the distance up-to 30 meters and side by side reduces the viewing angle to 75 degree. It is sufficient for a gallery/ balcony as both of the walls can be viewed in this viewing angle and the distance of the view also increases.

There are some places like showrooms, Godowns etc. where client want to install only a single camera for just surveillance purposes. In this scenario fish eye camera is one of the best solutions. It is installed at a celling to capture a 180 degree of the viewing angle. The image of the fish eye camera is round in shape whereas the same can be broken down in 4 parts in rectangular shape.
